Sleep training twins?

Anyone got any tips on getting twins to sleep through? Mine are nearly 8mo FF and wake approx 3-4 times a night!! Sometimes for food, sometimes crying, sometimes for shits&giggles. They eat well during the day and we have a good bedtime routine which works very well in getting them to sleep initially, but from there on it's regular waking.

We are currently sleeping them separately with my DP taking one and me the other, but we'd like to get them both in their nursery.

Is it possible to sleep train them both at the same time? Won't they wake each other up?

Also, any tips on how people have succeeded would be great. Thinking controlled crying but with a max of 2 weeks if it's distressing them too much.

We sleep trained our girls using controlled crying when they were 6 months. I'd recommend the book "Teach your child to sleep" by the Millpond clinic, and also "Healthy sleep habits, happy child" by Marc Weissbluth". It took about 4 nights, they never cried more than 5 minutes, and they have slept through the night (other than when ill) ever since.

Ours are now 4 but have always shared, initially a cot and then a room......they sleep through most noise and often if one is making a lot of noise at bedtime the other zonks out. I remember thinking about the whole crying issue with them but it can't have been too bad as my memory has faded......not much help, sorry!

Waves! Hi ! I'm going through the same thing -we've got twin boys and sleep is a nightmare at the moment seems worse since we've started weaning... which there still not eating that much. Our boys are in separate cots in there own room but they wake each other up. Last night one twin was sleeping really well and the other was up literally for shits and giggles from 11- 1 and then had a bottle to go back to sleep and then was up again at half 3 ! And woke his brother up. I'm sooo knackered I don't know what to do ! :( xx

Ooo ours are nearly 8 months (6 weeks early if that makes a different) what's most annoying is that they slept through from 12 weeks but have been aweful in the last 2 months
