Multiple births

Where else can I look for a triple or quad pushchair please?

I'm in need of either a triple or quad pushchair, and ideally I want to avoid the cheap umbrella fold, 3 in a row style.

However I'm finding it hard. It's going to be a huge outlay and so far ebay / amazon / preloved / gumtree have come up with zilch!

I need 3 seats that recline, so buggypods, and easy X riders aren't an option, and I've seen some 3 seaters that are like a double with a 3rd seat plopped on the front but it has no recline on that seat so again no good.

Are there any groups I could try, or does anyone else have any ideas where I could try to look.

I ideally want second hand as it's such a big outlay even then, but would maybe consider new - but most new are almost at the same price as my car cost. Grin

Is it for newborn triplets? Or newborn twins and toddler?

Oops sorry it's for 3 toddlers all aged 14-20 months, all still quite petite, 2 of them only just walking, and all 3 nap. I'm a childminder. Sorry I hope it's okay to post here, I just saw multiples and didn't realise it was multiple births! Blush

I am a childminder in an area we don't charge a huge hourly amount, and I'm needing a bigger pushchair due to a family changing days rather than new business so I've no rise in income and a big outlay to spend.

I used a double and a sling.

I have used a double and a connecta carrier in the past but my back has been playing up lately, and I'm not sure I'd want one of them nodding off on me.

I like that multi-coloured one! Very bright. Smile Thanks for all these ideas.

£600-700 for a peg perego or TFK makes me weep! Even if I had a new contract/mindee I'd be working for months and months at no profit. I may just have to though and view it as a long term investment.

The peg perego has a 'best offer' option, might be worth a try? I bet they are pretty hard to sell on....

I realise this is an old thread but the one you need is the ABC Adventure. All 3 seats lie flat, and are really cosy, it's built by philnteds so is really solid and it's the best pram we ever had, and we had 9Blush

I second the poster who said the ABC (Adventure Buggy Company). They do a side-by-side double with a reclinable seat on top. I have an old style in-line ABC tripple (main pushchair, reclinable seat on top, non-reclinable toddler seat on the front) but I don't think they make it any more. They come from New Zealand so are seriously expensive to buy new but I got mine on Gumtree - keep a look out around the country, it's worth a drive if you can get one second hand.
