Getting really uncomfortable now - help!

Hi all. I'm almost 28 weeks pg with triplets and have fortunately generally been fine so far (though with a lot of colds and pelvic pressure but not too bad considering!) but am now really struggling to get comfortable at night. Constant tossing and turning, no position works well, bump is just getting so big and itchy sometimes, yet (hopefully) I've still got quite a few weeks to go.
Any sleeping tips? I've been trying to use extra pillows but haven't bought a special pregnancy pillow yet - do these really help? I have a bath every night and even this is getting less comfortable. Any advice welcome! TIA

Oh wow triplets, amazing! I was pregnant with twins this time last year and so uncomfortable as I was enormous and had awful heartburn. I had a special pillow but didn't use it. I used to roll the whole duvet up behind me bringing it round the sides for arm rests and mostly sit up, it helped with the sickness too. Pillows between my knees was great aswell. Good luck with everything.

Wow, triplets, congratulations Smile
When carrying my twins I got a very long pregnancy pillow from mothercare which I placed between my legs and under my enormous bump. I had excruciating spd. Good luck Flowers

I used a long pregnancy pillow too between my knees and under the bump, but with twins. It must be extra difficult to get comfy carrying triplets! I used to go swimming/standing around in water and loved it as was the only time the weight was really off, might be good in this hot weather too. Have you seen a physio at all, they may be able to give advice?

Thank you ladies. I think I'll buy one of those long pillows. Yes being in water - bath or swimming - is one of the only truly comfortable things, but am even finding it hard to lie in the bath now as bump limits my space to breathe!
