So fed up now!

Hi everyone,

I am 35 +3 with b/g twins and I have totally run out of patience now! I have had a few weeks of maternity already so everything has been done around the house that I can think of. I am so grumpy and finding it difficult to get comfortable for any length of time.

Please someone come along and snap me out of it! I know I only have another 2 weeks to go but at the moment that feels like forever! Sad

You are probably fed up of everyone telling you to make the most of the peace and quiet too! Think of it as two weeks max. Could well be earlier so at least you are organised and ready if it is. I finished work at 30 weeks then went all the way to be induced at 38 weeks and had sciatica so could barely move in the last two weeks, so know how you feel. I weirdly couldn't even concentrate on TV or reading to pass the time. Took up knitting in the end and made some truly awful misshapen hats.

Haha! Maybe I should do something like that then. Yes, I know what you mean about the peace and quiet. I will probably laugh when looking back on this is a couple of weeks but I would swap the peace and quiet for two screaming newborns right now! Need to stop feeling so sorry for myself though.

I went out for a long walk (waddle!) most days. Often stopping off for an ice cream and a seat.
I also did loads of cooking and froze it. The first few weeks I was truly glad I did. I made lots of soups, pies and casseroles, which I pulled out of the freezer daily.
Also went shopping and stocked up on groceries.
Enjoy the peace and quiet and the fact you can just pop out without thinking of 2 little people!
