I am a twin... I have had a girl and then twin boys (non id)... i am also 6weeks late Shock consultant last time said it was around 1 in 4 chance for us.

Not me (I've got the same as you, a girl and then twin boys), but I have noticed there are a couple of posters who have more than one set. Idobelieveinfairies, harrygracejessica and fourunderfour I think. Apologies if I've got this wrong. I don't stalk them or anything! I just admire them from afar!

Have you actually been trying to get pregnant? And the all important question - have you peed on a stick yet!? I love hearing about people getting pregnant! As long as it's not me, I'm done Grin

I certainly don't!

However I do remember some random TV programme once featuring a couple that had 1, then twins, then triplets. All with 5 years or so Shock Shock

I met a family with three sets of twins once. They were lovely, if a little tired.

I have huge paranoia about this, I have id girls 9 months old but am convinced that if ever I try again I'll end up with twin/triplet boys Shock

I know about Harrygracejessica think she has 2 sets of twins and a singleton, I am in awe Grin

Me neither, but I met a lady at toddler gp a couple of weeks ago who has 6 (unplanned) children including 2 sets of b/g twins. The children were beautiful, well-behaved & all pitched in to help one another / mum. There was quite an age spread though (12yrs - 18months) & I imagine that is possibly the most important thing.

POS and negative.... ;) DH thinks its a good job as newborn twins might send him over the edge....

and our boys slept through from 6 weeks - he has booked an appopintment for the snip...

Not IRL - But I'm a member of a fertility forum (we had IVF) and know 2 families with 2 sets of Non ID twins.

We are panicking about this - we intend to have one more DC, and will have a single embryo transfer, but there is a higher incidence of ID twins with IVF - the thought gives us the willies and is certainly giving us pause for thought.

We did!

Boy twins now 4yo, just started Reception, girl twins 11 months, all non ID.

First set were a complete shock (no family history, no IVF). We'd joked about second pregnancy being twins too. And then they were!

God or fate has clearly taken a hand....

DH and I have 15 year old twin boys (non ID) and I am now pregnant with ID twin sons! We also have 2 other children (daughter aged 12 and son aged 20). It will be a handful but we're ready for the challenge!

I was also told it was a 1 in 4 chance - I am also a twin (non ID), had non ID twins myself then got pregnant a second time but it was only a singleton!

When the twins were in SCBU, one of their nurses had had twins and then triplets, and I used to go to a twins club and there was a lady there with 5 under 5 ot thereabouts - a 5 yr old, 3 yr old twin boys and 1 yr old twin girls!

Good luck.
