I've got two kids who are 1/4 south East Asian. Toddler has more Asian gene with tan skin, the baby is white as White can be (blonde hair, pale skin). I just wondered in terms on sun protection should I just be using the highest possible sun cream factor on both or a different type of cream for both? This only occurred to me today when I was musing about the colour differences.

what age is the baby? You can get suncream specifically for babies. Otherwise a factor 30 or 50 should be sufficient. Keep out of the sun 11-3 and reapply frequently

Obviously freaking using sun cream on both. I'm anglo asian and have had in my 30's basal skin carcinoma. My white english father has had loads and my darked skinned asian mother now in her 70s having been brought up in east africa has also had a basal skin carcinoma removed. We've all had times in tropical countries.

Nowt to do with skin colour and all to do with being brought up in a country that isn't used to hot sun.

Cover your kids up - obviously!!!!!!!
