My 2nd book. I couldn't sleep with worry about the first choice..
I love this book and have passed on to most people I know.
I like the way each chapter is from a different view point of the characters which has the result of you understanding why each person does what they do and like in most real life situations no one is completely right.
This sparked conversations with people I know and me and DP still disagree.

Don't read the last page like my sister did and ruined the book for herself..

Enjoy x

This is the first book I've read by this author. I found it an interesting read, which kept pulling me along to find out what was going to happen next. I liked the chapters written from different characters' perspectives and the way there wasn't just one way to interpret the story line.
At times I did feel a bit too obviously manipulated by the author - I know they all do it, but I'd rather not be aware of it happening.

What would you have done? Is there someone you agreed with more than another?

I started to try and think what I would do - but then wimped out, I couldn't bear to consider it! I liked Sara. I liked the way Anna comes across as a typical self absorbed teenager, convinced that she was always treated the worst (I have 2 so recognise this very well!) and then Sara was shown being much more even handed than it all initially appeared.

Sara's the mum right? As parents it's an impossible situation. I say I wouldn't but crunch time I would prob do anything to get through it.

Her other books are good but once you've read a few they can become similar - based around a court room type of thing.

I read one where it was a child that could communicate with God. That was quite good.

Yes, Sara is the mum.
