Start using Mumsnet Premium8 Weeks Post Miscarriage - Fatigue
(4 Posts)I'm so sorry for your loss. I was very similar after my MMC and think it was a combination of massive blood loss, trauma and sadness. You've been though an awful lot, and I think expecting to bounce back quickly isn't going to help. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself time to heal physically and mentally. Wish I could bring you some chocolate!
I remember being told for every month, I was pregnant, it would take a month to get over it. IMO, if there was heavy blood loss, that is especially likely.
Sorry for you loss @rayh25 & that you're still struggling with fatigue. Have you had your iron levels checked? That can really effect your energy levels. It may be worth getting it checked at your GPs. Xx
Hi Everyone,
I found out about missed miscarriage at 12 week scan on 8th September. I had surgical under general on 10th September and then due to continued bleeding and passing clots, had to have another under local anesthetic on 15th October as I still had tissue present. My bleeding stopped 2 days after my second procedure.
Since Monday I have been extremely fatigued, has anyone else been like this? Had sex twice with husband since procedure, no period & not pregnant so no clue why I feel so tired constantly. 😭😫
