Pain after surgical removal

Had a surgical removal under local anaesthetic (spinal block) on Friday afternoon so just over 48 hours ago.

Bleeding is more or less under control, but pain seems to have got worse. Have back ache, and hips, side, and stomach hurts. Stomach also bloated, whereas was almost flat by the time I went in for surgery. I now feel faint when I stand up.

I have moved about a lot more than yesterday, though all this has involved is going up and down the stairs about 4 times, sitting on sofa and chairs downstairs and standing up for about 20 mins. So could just be that.

Is this normal does anyone know? When am I should I be completely back to normal by and able to do everything as normal?

I had an erpc after missed miscarriage. Assuming this is the same thing? Mine was done as an emergency under GA due to haemorrhaging during medical management.

Tbh, you sound more physically unwell than I did afterwards. I was a bit tired and stiff, with mild period pain. I was able to do housework etc. I think you should maybe speak to someone. Take care.

Having re read your OP, I'd say definitely speak to someone, and don't delay. Did you get a contact number?

@SylvanianFrenemies yes it was for missed miscarriage.
Since I posted on here, had weird things like pulse beating in neck, tingling calves, pins and needles in hands, and now have pulsing left calf.

Just rang the ward I was on. They say I must at least get up every hour (apart from sleeping obvs) and walk around house and to keep taking tabs all time so not painful to move. She ask if I had the compression stockings on, which they were going to give in hospital on weds, but they didn’t have any in my size, so haven't worn. She say difficult to assess over phone, so to avoid a&e if I could, but go if I had to. Said swollen stomach could be wind and bloating etc and to pick up some constipation stuff.
Hopefully it's all fine.....

Hmm... I'd consider trying to see a doctor if things don't feel better soon, straight away if worse. Also look up the signs of deep vein thrombosis. Sorry you are having such uncertainty, mmc is bad enough without the added pandemic aspect

Yeh, going to wait until morning, looked up dvt after I got off the phone and in the last hour or so, leg has started to hurt (not major pain) uncomfortable to walk on, and feels a little more swollen than the other one. Will definitely get on the phone to 111 if it's the same or worse.

I seriously don't know if I can handle any more of this shit!

Think all the dvt stuff came to nothing, so that was good, at least it got me to get my lazy ass out of bed a bit more cos I was afraid of it!
Had bad headaches with nausea yesterday, and bodily functions as normal yet, but rang docs today and had telephone appointment this afternoon. Prescriptions have gone in and my husband will pick them up in about an hour or so, so that's good.
