How long to bleed after d&c

I had a d&c on Friday and was told I could expect to bleed for 3-5 days. It is day 4 and I am still bleeding and it is very red and shows no signs of stopping. I am not worried it is too heavy or anything but I am desperate to stop bleeding. I have been bleeding for two weeks now since first sign of miscarriage and then failed medical management. I have read that many women experience bleeding for weeks and I wanted to know how common this is.

It took me 2 weeks after my D&C to stop bleeding.

Mine was like a normal period but for about 10 days
