Irregular cycle after miscarriage

I had an early miscarriage at 6.5 weeks at the start of July. The bleeding had stopped within a week and I had a negative test in that time too. My periods have always been irregular since coming off the pill last year. I had 2 days of very light spotting/bleeding at the start of August which I assume could of been AF. Ive been ovulation testing and had a high result last week, but I think we missed the window this month. I have no idea when Im next due on so struggling to know when I will next ovulate. Should I just test daily from now until I get a high test eventhough I think I ovulated last week? Hoping we dont miss our chance again next month. Thank you xx

Plus Ive had a dull ache on my left side for about a week now but think Im over thinking it as theres a low chance I could be pregnant xx
