Pregnancy symptoms returned after D & C - advice?

Hi, had a D & C at the end of May. I was 6 weeks + 5 but it was a blighted ovum.

Over the past few days my symptoms have returned. I've had a metallic taste in my mouth, sore boobs and woke up this morning feeling sick. No period as yet. Any advice?

Are you sure you're not pregnant again? It is possible even without having a period after a MC.

Lots of love and sorry you've been through this Flowers

Take a pregnancy test, if positive ask for a scan to confirm if it's a new pregnancy.

Thank you @MRS. It is possible but surely it's not possible that I could be? Even if it was, it would only be about two weeks since and surely I wouldn't have symptoms this quickly? My sense of smell has changed as well. I'm now really sensitive to odours.

If I were pregnant it would only be by just over two weeks which is too early for a test. I'm just not sure what's happening to my body.

I've only been pregnant once (and sadly miscarried recently) so I'm no specialist, but I've totally started feeling pregnant less than 2 weeks after so you never know.

Don't think about it just yet, it's important that you take the test and as TinyPaws said, if positive, you'll need a scan. That's the only way to determine whether you had an incomplete D&C (which may happen, although very rarely) or whether you have indeed fallen pregnant very quickly.

Wishing you all the very best xxx

It's possible to have symptoms within a week or two of conception, so it could be a new pregnancy. Have you been seen at an EPAU recently? If so and you do get a positive pregnancy test they should scan you and/or check hCG levels to see if these are increasing or decreasing.

Fingers crossed you get the outcome you want. x
