Just feeling a bit sorry for myself really. First miscarriage Sept last year at 9-10 weeks, second confirmed today, though I knew that would be the case since it started on Tues just as it was last time. Only 6-7 weeks this time so less physically difficult but just feeling hard done by. It's shit.

Naturally saw a million babies everywhere over last few days. I have two dds 8 and 5 tomorrow! so know I am not totally hard done by.

Wine tonight!

Flowers for you, it’s miserable isn’t it. I had two in six months, my second was due yesterday. Currently every close female to me seems pregnant. I see it everywhere. Allow yourself time to grief and maybe take a little break from TTC until you feel mentally prepared. I was in a rush to try again after the second but actually I am glad i have taken some time. I also had a DS so I know I am incredibly fortunate, but it doesn’t minimise the loss at all does it. Xxx

Yes, take time to grieve and have that glass of wine. I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this.

Thanks both, will definitely wait a cycle before trying again. For now taking small comfort in caffeinated tea and will definitely eat lots.of brie and rare steak etc. Confided in a close colleague but otherwise just me and dh.

Hard not to feel like its a sign I should just quit trying for a dc3 but urge is so strong. Been ttc dc3 since 2016 but then paused due to gallbladder issues, then finally had my surgery last year. Also contemplating my ageing uterus (38 now). Although kind doc today said I had beautiful ovaries so nothing obviously wrong at least. Gah. Hopefully this time wont rumble on so long as last time, but to be honest its not much worse than usual period so far so wont complain.

I feel for you. I've been there too. It's shit. I had 2 in the space of a few months. First one after fertility treatment after years of ttc dc2. Then they realised I had endo. Surgery. Pregnancy. But missed mc at 10 weeks. Drink that wine and be kind to yourself x

Hi milkjetmum,

Sorry to hear.. it's so awful isn't it. I'm in the same boat, I had one miscarriage in march and another in April and now I'm here again with a missed miscarriage. I completely get what you're saying about seeing millions of pregnancies everywhere! Indulge a bit for now and feast on things you couldn't sounds like a great plan , I've been doing the same CakeFlowers
