Hi girls I am all over the place at the moment have two beautiful little ladies already and we are now on our third pregnancy. Unfortunately had bad back pain so I went to my gp who checked my urine which was clean and referred me to EPU. I am only 5 weeks gone so they did a trans vaginal scan but this showed no sac in my womb or my tubes. My pregnancy test was a faint positive and also faint at my gp aswel. Throughout the u/s she my uterine wall lining was very thin aswel not thick enough for a viable pregnancy. They took my bloods and I have to go back in 2 days to redo bloods and measure hcg. Has anyone been through this experience and what was the outcome.

Hi Shelly87

I'm sorry I can't offer you any help or advice as I've not been through this before, but I just wanted to send you a hug.

What you're going through sounds horrible, I hope everything sorts itself out quickly and you get some answers soon.

Yes, similar. Unfortunately mine wasn’t successful.
Called a PUL pregnancy of unknown location if I remember rightly. Skeleton outline below.
I ended up in A & E with stomach pain and vomiting. Knew I was v early pregnant.
Got admitted on the Friday. Scanned. Kept in. HCG kept rising for 3 days, and because of the sickness I couldn’t keep anything down, and the pain was like really really bad period pain.
Tuesday I had another internal scan. Nothing seen. Because they couldn’t see anything operating wasn’t an option. Then HCG came down, I had some bleeding, they said that it is likely to have been absorbed naturally by my body. Discharged after 6 days.
I did end up back in hospital after being at home for a night as the pain suddenly increased. But discharged after 2 days.

I found the waiting the worst.
Have you been told what to do if the pain gets worse etc?

Hi Londongin thanks for the reply so sorry to hear what you went through that sounds awful 😞 They just told me if I start to bleed or pain gets worse to go back over. I haven’t had any bleeding or sickness yet and the pain in my back has subsided the last couple of hours so really it’s just a waiting game of testing the hcg levels.

Believe it or not great news !! They found the sac and it’s in the womb..They did two scans and found it on the second one. I have a tilted uterus seemingly so she propped me with cushions and there it appeared 😍 hcg was normal for what it should be so so far all good news. Thanks so much for asking
