Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Have I miscarried? ERPC booked for today

Hi,
I’m due to have surgical management first thing this morning.
Last night I started with very very mild cramps for an hour or two and probably ten mins of bleeding. Not heavy, just like a period. Some clots, I think. Not much though! I called EPAU last night and they said no monitor, but still come in as planned first thing.

I’ve woken up this morning (after tossing and turning all night), but no more blood!
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. A very mild miscarriage? Was it a miscarriage?

I found out 2 weeks ago about my mmc :( It was measuring 6w 5d. I wanted to let it pass naturally. Wasn’t happening so I booked the surgery! Then this...

I’m getting ready to go hosp now. But wondering If it really is necessary? Surgery I mean. Hoping not, but we’ll see in an hour

x

So sorry to hear about your loss. I've been there too and it's awful. It's likely that things have started naturally. They may scan you to see what is going on and perhaps give you the option to wait and see.

Sorry for your loss. I was scanned before they took me down, so I'd mention it.

I bled on and off for three weeks with my first. The day of the erpc it really picked up but they still did the op. If you are concerned ask them to scan you before you go for the op. So sorry for your loss and I hope today goes as well as it can for you x

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had an mmc in July at 12 weeks and had medical management which for me was awful. I ended up having an emergency d&c and I really didn't want one but I wa so much better emotionally and physically after I'd had it done. The nurses at the hospital were amazing but if it does come down to surgery please don't worry xx

So sorry but yes all sorts of symptoms - ask for another scan before you commit further but don’t get too excited as it’s probably not likely to be positive
Hand hold . Been there too as have many others but with positive success stories later Flowers

I had a re scan yesterday at the pre op.
I had the surgery this morning as hadn’t bled anymore and they wanted to make sure it all went.
It was okay. In and out really. I have mild cramps/discomfort now and some bleeding x
