Ambulatory scan?

Can anyone offer any advice? Had a positive pg just over 2 weeks ago. Had an early scan last week, showed pregnancy sac but empty. Bloods were checked 48 hours apart and fine. Had a follow up scan today (1 week later). pregnancy sac has grown but it's still appears empty. Had bloods done again, they've risen again. Epu doesn't know what's going on. I've got to go back tomorrow for an ambulatory (?) scan with a consultant first thing tomorrow. They're worried it might be growing somewhere else, which has scared me a lot. Not helped by the midwife saying I must go to A&E if I feel unwell, start bleeding or have any pain between now and then. Does anyone have any experience of this..? I'm so worried. Thanks
