Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

When will I feel normal?

I'm booked in for surgical management this week after a loss at 9 weeks.

Im feeling ok but right now I'm feeling an incredible desire to get fit and start exercising. My body has failed me and I just feel horrible. Bloated, pale, fat! I cannot wait for the operation so I can just move on.

I actually think getting into exercise will help with the healing process. It will sure give me a focus anyway.

When is it safe to exercise after this procedure? Is it s good idea? Did it help heal you?

Firstly so sorry you are going through this.

I think exercise will be good as a focus, but I think it's best to wait a couple of weeks and ask your doctor when you are there just to make sure.

It's normal to feel bloated now and for a while after but it will pass.

The same thing happened to me on Thursday. I was 9 weeks too and had my little op on Friday morning. I'm feeling pretty ok and was wondering about exercise too. I've been eating way too much chocolate and rubbish since we got the bad news and I'd like to try and get my body back to fit and healthy so we can try again.

Have to say though, I wasn't really given any advice from the hospital after the procedure so I've done a lot of reading for myself. I think you have to trust your body.

I hope you're ok. If it helps, the procedure really isn't too bad and I think it's helped me begin to move on.
