Blood clot nearly 6 weeks after miscarriage?

Sorry I feel like I'm on here all the time at the moment but just losing the plot a bit and can't google anymore!

Unfortunately we found out I had a MMC at 8 weeks and I had to have an MVA nearly 6 weeks ago. I've been back and forth to the hospital as there's still a blood clot that hasn't passed/absorbed. It's 14mm?

I'm on a second course of antibiotics and had some bleeding but it's quite light I just want it to pass now! No idea if this is AF or infection or what to be honest.

Has anyone else had any experience of this? Is there anything at all I can do?

I know you posted this a couple of days ago so just wondering how you are now? Has there been a break in the bleeding, because if there has, this could be AF. I know some ladies say that their first period is light after surgical managements.

Did the remaining clot show up on a scan? Usually if theres anything small that's left over, you'll pass naturally.

I had an infection after MC because of tissue stuck in my cervix which had to be removed. I ended up with a high temperature and rigors. I think unless you have a temp, feel ill or have pain then it's probably your body just trying to overcome the MC.
If you're still concerned I'd call GP x

Forever thank you for your reply!

There has been a break in the bleeding of just over a week, but this bleeding is quite light and stopped for a day now it's kind of like spotting?

Yes the clot showed up on a scan and hasn't changed since the first scan straight after the surgery.

So sorry to hear about your MC and the infection I just think it's a hard process and these things make it a bit harder!

We are definitely waiting another cycle before TTC to make sure everything is out!

Really appreciate your reply and advice x
