Help- miscarrying- can feel the sac

Help. I'm currently going through natural miscarriage at 9 weeks. They said at my early scan that there was yolk only. I have had heavy bleeding now I can feel the sac inside my vagina but it's attached and not coming away. Will it come away naturally? How long will it take? This is horrible.

Oh you poor thing. I'm so sorry. I've never been through anything like this, thank God, but will bump the thread in case someone can help.

Flowers - I had a natural miscarriage at 7 weeks and it was like a heavy period with big globs of blood rather than there being a sac.

I'd ring your GP or your local epu and ask to be seen.

They said just relax and wait and it will come away. It's just horrendous.

I'm so sorry. My sac just fell out at one point. I was on hands and knees in the shower so maybe a change of position might help? If it takes hours I would call again if I were you.

That's who I spoke to. They just told me it will come away. X

Hope you are coping. . I mc at home alone and had contractions for a few hours then the urge to push. I caught the sac and feotus complete. As much as I was horrified to catch it in my hands it was comforting to see it and say goodbye. .
If the bleeding is extreme don't put off calling an ambulance. . I bled quite a bit quick soon afterwards but it slowed down quickly. . Sorry for your loss. Flowers

I'm not really bleeding now. I can just feel it there. But it's sort of attached. Last time I
Miscarried was October and it just came away easily x

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd actually go into the EPU if I were you. That sounds horrible.

I am sure you don't feel like it but can you hoover? I was at work hoovering when I mc. And in the past it has helped speed labours along. Sorry sounds daft writing it down but helped me..

How long has it been like this?

That sounds awfulFlowers

I had a very early MC so it was literally like a period. It must be so dcary to feel something, bless you. The hospital shouldn't really leave you with the sac inside, surely it's a risk of infection. Maybe give it a few hours, if you can have a walk as that might speed things along. After that try ringing again.

I've been where you are, but at 14 weeks (3rd MC). If it helps, it was about 16 hours between the cramping stopping & actually passing the sac. The pain/contractions had already subsided & bleeding was decreasing so I wasn't as distressed anymore. It was just an overnight waiting game & I was shattered so spent most of it horizontal. I think gravity would help.

Perhaps the hoovering idea is a good one?

As PP have said if bleeding gets heavier, or you experience severe pain call the EPU again & go in. Research toxic shock. My understanding is that as long as tissue isn't stuck in the cervix, you'll be fine & it should come away naturally. If it doesn't, it will get stuck & start to smell. You will notice. It happened to me & I'd far rather let it come away naturally than go into EPU & have it scraped out of the cervix. But then I have a hospital phobia Blush

Whatever happens, you're over the worst of it now & you'll be fine. Be kind to yourself Flowers

I had a sac at around 9 weeks just sort of slide out - I'd felt pain all day (my cervix opening I suppose) and the bleeding stopped. EPU told me this meant it was over Hmm I happened to bend down (as if doing a squat) to reach something and it came out.
If nothing sugggrsted on here works I think you should go in tonight - it must be possible for them to (sorry) reach in and do something.
Just what you need on top of the emotional stuff, isn't it? Sad Flowers
