Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Stuck in limbo over weekend

I found out on Friday at 12 week scan I'd had a missed miscarriage. I've opted for surgical management.

I just want to get it all over with but nothing happens here over the weekend. I'm terrified I'm going to miscarry at home with no pain relief.

I've had IVF and three previous losses, and resulting depression. I feel like the waiting isn't going to help me cope with this in the long run.

I'm so sorry for your losses and what you are going through.
I had a MMC earlier this year and had to wait for 2 weeks for a procedure at hospital. I had some bleeding but did not miscarry naturally in that waiting time. I know no one is the same but wanted to try and offer some reassurance.
Take care of yourself. Can you talk worries through with your partner/family member for support?
Thinking of you x

Also if you started to miscarry at home you could go to A&E for pain relief over the weekend so if that happened don't be by yourself in pain x

I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm having to wait a week for my MVA, and it is horrible. I have started bleeding slightly, but still hopeful that it won't kick off properly before Wednesday.

Take it easy and avoid doing too much, I managed a week without anything happening between scan and ERPC last time I had an mmc, so the chances are you'll be ok, especially if you're not having and cramping or bleeding yet.

I got out of hospital yesterday. I was cramping and had a lot of weird white discharge the day of the procedure so think things were starting to kick in naturally, am relieved I didn't have to wait longer.

My body just never seems to play ball with any pregnancy related things :(

Duck, hope yours goes ok. Moon, thanks for replying and can't believe you had to wait 2 weeks, that's awful.
