Hi all,Sorry if this bring back any bad memories for you! But im looking for some outcomes positive or bad, This is my 3rd pregnancy, my first I gained a beautiful healthy little girl three years ago and my second ended in MMC last year in may at my dating scan.

I'm currently 12-13 weeks pregnant so far so good up with until Thursday night I had intercourse with my partner and afterwards went to the loo and when I wiped there was pink blood on the tissue ,i was an absolute wreck and cried my self to sleep that night.

The morning after it was gone other than a little discharge tinged with brown blood and nothing since I contacted my midwife who explained that it is normal after sex as cervix is super sensitive and wasn't concerned, also she dropped a bomb shell that she hadn't sent my referral of for my dating scan but said to leave it with her and will be back in touch Monday.

Reason why im doing this post is because i cant shake the bad feeling out my head, but my symptoms give me hope, slight nausea, sore boobs and etc with my mmc I had nothing and I think i might be feeling the baby specially when lying on my right side and its always in the same place but i do also know it can be gas.

I don't want lectures about going up hospital and etc as I know there is nothing they can do at this point and I have a little one with no support so im just hoping the bleeding just stays away! It's just a waiting game for us now

Absolutely dreading my dating scan now :( any previous experiences would be helpful as I'm 50/50 about how this pregnancy is going to go xxx

I don't think there is anything you can do until you have a scan and see if your baby is fine, unless you go to the EPU and ask for an early scan. The midwife said not to worry about the bleeding so I wouldn't be too concerned. Lots of people get bleeding during pregnancy and it is fine. MMC are difficult to predict be use of their nature, I had strong symptoms and still had a MMC. I don't think there is really much I can say to help, sorry x

Thank you for your message, and I know mmc are so cruel I had the D&C with mine so I'm sat at home working my self up about what I'll see, what pain I'll be in if I do go on to mc, where I am they don't accept self referrals so when my midwife contacts me tomorrow I'm gonna push for some help with getting a scan done asap xx
