Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Sat waiting in hospital :(

So after miscarrying at 8 weeks last week and being told over the phone by a doctor to just 'let things happen' and that's all, I'm now sat waiting in hospital.
I had pains yesterday and called the doctors who advised me to just continue 'letting it happen' with no medical intervention.
Anyway the doctor obviously slept on it and rang me this morning at 9am telling me I should in fact go to hostpital at 11am.
So I've nipped out of work, got here for them to have no idea I was coming. I had to explain I had miscarried in front of a room full of happy pregnant people. And now they have put me on a chair in a corridor (away from the pregnant ladies) to await someone to see me. I've been waiting an hour now. I don't know what's happening. Can't talk to anyone about this and work think I won't be long so I'll probably be in trouble.
What might I expect when finally seen! xx

No advice but just wanted to say Flowers I'm so sorry you're going through this.

HI Hayhay, I'm so sorry - this sounds so awful. I was told yesterday at 8 weeks that I would miscarry soon and now sitting at home waiting for it to happen. I'm afraid I can't say exactly but I imagine they will scan you to see if the miscarriage is complete. I really hope you don't have to wait much longer and that when they do see you, they are a little more sensitive. Are you at the EPU?

Thank you all. I'm in women's out patients where they do ultra sound scans. They have told me I need to see the 'emergency doctors' who are not responding to their calls as 'they are probably doing caesarians' I don't see why it needs to be an emergency doctor, surely just a scan will do. I'm too nice to complain about this wait! I just want it other with and go back to work (well, I'd prefer to go home to bed but that's not an option)
Sorry for being So moany.
Xx

That sounds shit. I'm so sorry Flowers
are you able to tell work? Give them a call? Then at least they'd know you weren't coming back today at least and that would be one less worry.
If you have pains ask for painkillers, be persistent, pain doesn't need to be endured.

I'm so sorry HayHay Flowers
Their treatment of you sounds terrible, is there no way you can push them to get you seen?
