Hi,
Never done this before but here goes... TTC 2 years, age 37. PCOS. Ovulate between day 19 and 44 (average day 28). Luteal phase 9 days. Typically positive tests are always faint, 14 dpo. Fsh below average for my age. AMH level borderline satisfactory. No blood clotting disorder. NK cells normal. Now I've worked out when I ov. can get pregnant every cycle... They just don't make it.

First mc oct 2014 - 6.5 weeks.
2nd Dec 2014 - 8.5 weeks.
3rd Feb 2015 - 6 weeks.
4th April 2015 - 6 weeks (progesterone, clexane and baby aspirin from positive test 6 dpo).
5th Oct 2015 - 5.5 weeks (progesterone, clexane).
6th. Nov 2015 - 7 weeks (prog, clexane).

Typically lose them at 17 to 21 DPO, so think only 4 to 6 weeks pregnant... However my cycles make it look longer...

I have a step son so we'll have to pay for IVF... (NHS can't fund). I just want to check I'm doing all I can... Before I fork out... I've not had a laparoscopy... I'm wondering whether I should but I don't think you can that many ectopic pregnancies... and for it naturally to be sorted. I'm registered with my local hospital, Oxford fertility clinic, and university of Warwick so I think I'm covered but I just want to see what anyone's thoughts were.

I think my next steps will be genetic testing? Any ideas?

Thanks

Lou

Hi 333LuLu, Omg I am truly sorry for all what you are going through. I can not imagine how you must be feeling as I am currently devasted at age 41 after having 3 losses (still no children), just miscarried yesterday, had a prior one in Oct 2015 and then a prior failed pregnancy that I had to terminate at 14 weeks in Oct 2014 (Down Syndrome / very sick embryo).
I recently posted about this and had someone respond telling me to try the Coventry Fertility Clinic that is a self-referral clinic and I think costs £360 for a consultation and they prove to be excellent in recurrent m/c diagnosis.
I am thinking about possibly going there myself.
I wish you the best going forward. Not sure if you have read the recurrent miscarriage threads on here but they will help you... I just read another poor woman had 7 m/c in a row, decided to give up and at that point, her miracle happened. Don't give up and keeping my fingers crossed for you. Flowers

Lulu, have you had your thyroid checked? Can cause miscarriage and fairly common for women in their 30s to have underactive thyroid.

And immunes? I don't know the Coventry clinic, but I'm assuming this would be of each of their investigations?

Very very best of luck.

Thanks, thyroid is fine. Yeah may need to go down the auto immune route...

Thanks 333LuLu. Yes it is very difficult. Yes that's right Warwick Hospital, lots of people on Mumsnet are talking highly of them. I wish you all the luck and keep us posted.
And just a thought, a good friend of mine has PCOS, was having problems conceiving and had 2 m/cs. She was recommended by a fertility clinic to take Inofolic which she took and it worked for her. May be worth mentioning on your next visit to Warwick (or you may already know about it). You can look it up online, it's around £120 for 3 months and you can order it directly online. inofolic.org.uk/ x

Hi 333LuLu, just scrolling through old threads I've previously been in and saw this. How are you getting on? I hope all is well.

I'm 43 now and still no joy of being a mum (up to 7 failed attempts now) 😔

I hope you're in a better position than I am in.

Try baby aspirin every day (from before conception to around 36 weeks)

Thanks TheIntrovertedMum. Tried already and no joy :-( Also tried Clexane, Progestrone and many vits. Also tried IVF. I think I am going to draw the line on it all to be honest. 😐

Awww @Lou2016 I'm so sorry 💖 I can't even begin to imagine how heartbreaking that is! I've only ever had one mc and it put me off trying again for 10 months!!
