Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Would this be considered normal?

Hi all, sorry if this upsets anyone as the last thing on our minds (including mine) is whilst going through a miscarriage is sex.

I miscarried at 10+ weeks and when I first went to bed, one of my fleeting thoughts was "I don't really think I can have sex soon, it just reminds me of the baby we created and lost"

These feelings are now very strong. Today the thought of sex just reduces me to absolute tears. Anyone else have something similar?

Thank you Thanks

I had similar after loosing dd2. Sex had been 'baby making' before she was conceived and then no sex during pregnancy as I bled with dd1.

The idea of sex was mixed up with worries of having another baby (we decided to not ttc until after her due date) reminders of loosing her. It was very complicated and odd. It felt like another blow.

Tbh it kind of fixed itself as I dealt with the grief. I am told by my counsellor that it's a very common feature of grieving, especially a lost baby.

I'm really sorry for your loss Thanks

Thank you Kitty, I'm also sorry about you dd.

Luckily enough my DP has an incredible low libido anyway and hasn't even thought of trying anything.
