Hello everyone. It has been awhile since I have posted. Lots has happened but just wanted to say thank you to those who helped me with my problems....
So as the title suggests - Babies after Miscarriage. So I had a miscarriage, or to be precise a blighted ovum, in January this year. Though a lot of the advise given was 'it was never a baby to begin with' or 'it's your body telling you this one is no good' or the worst I've had 'well you'll just have to try harder next time, might even be twins' that one was well deserving of a punch but I'm a lady! Anyway we weren't really trying to conceive after the mc but we weren't doing anything to prevent it either. So 8 months down the line I find out I am pregnant again (applause is welcome :) and as happy as we are for this little miracle, in the back if my mind I have a nagging feeling of don't get too excited. It could be another mc. So as I'm sitting writing this I'm also looking up any info as to how often can mc happen? Is it likely to happen again? As I don't think my heart or head took take it.
What are anyone's thoughts, advice even experience if you'd be so kind to share....Grin

Congratulations! It's normal to be super-anxious but your risk is not increased after one MC from the 15-20% that applies to everyone. Try to look on it as 80-85% that this one will be fine. There are several pregnancy after miscarriage threads where everyone will understand your fears, it might help to chat to others in the same boat. Flowers
