8 weeks after d&c still no period

Hi there, has anyone else had a nightmare waiting for their hcg levels to go down after d&c? I have been getting my bloods done every few weeks waiting for hormones to go back to normal and at 5 weeks they were still 93 and I have just had them done again this Friday (which will be heading into wk 8) so get result on Monday! There is absolutely no sign of period & it's driving me mad now as I can't move on until I have my first period, has this happened to anyone else? And if so how long did it take for first period to arrive?
I must add I am not pregnant again as levels are going in the right direction!

Mine took 10 weeks to return, I felt like I was going mad! Hope it turns up soon for you!

I took nearly 3 months to come back.

I have never been so pleased to get my period on my birthday.
