Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Really bad timing...

Hi ladies
I'm sorry I just have to vent. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in April. Ended up in hospital on drip and then emergency erpc.
When we were in my dh saw a friend in the pregnancy scanning unit.

So today, my period returns (good i suppose) but literally to the second of it returning, same friend tells me they are expecting. Happy for them but I can't believe how cruel the timing can be.

We are fortunate enough to have two children. Our first took three years to conceive so I became well used to announcements and being devastated and hiding it(probably badly!) Not so bad this time as I am happy for them but I just can't believe the timing. Just to hammer the reminder in-you're not pregnant any more.

Sorry for the pity fest. Dh is away with work and I'm just feeling down about it all. Xx

Completely understand how u r feeling! The day I was miscarrying a couple close to us phoned just after taking a pregnancy test!

Worse thing for me is they knew what we were going through and still phoned before even telling their families! Apparently because we are good friends they wanted us to know! Safe to say I haven't spoke to them since as I found it all very insensitive! And think they did it on purpose!

It miscarried in April too. ??

Very sorry for your loss, OP. My friend and I got our BFPs at the same time. Her beautiful baby was born last week but I miscarried early in (and have had a second MC since then). I'm happy for her but so sad for me Sad
