Weird discharge after miscarriage

Sorry if this contains TMI!
I had medical management for my mmc nearly 4 weeks ago. I finally got my bfn 2 days ago, after testing every few days and still getting bfp. Starting to feel a bit more positive and thinking about ttc again. BUT, this morning I've had some really weird discharge. A big jelly-like blob came out of me, it was like some of the clots I had during my mc but without any blood, just clear, and no odour.
Has anyone experienced this? What is it? I've always had daily discharge, and it's been normal since I stopped bleeding two weeks ago. I've never experienced this before.
Thanks in advance if you can shed any light on this! Really want to ttc again but does this mean my body isn't ready?

Google the specifics might be ovulation

Yep - sounds like cervical mucus to me. It means that you are about to ovulate and "now" is the time to "do it" if you are ttc.

Thanks for your replies - just weird as never noticed anything that consistency before and thought it must be related to the miscarriage. Also, I did an ovulation test today with negative results. Weirdly, the only thing google (and i've been googling non-stop since i got in from work) shows that resembles it is the mucus plug. But that wouldn't come out this long after miscarriage, would it?

When I had this last month I googled it and came to the conclusion I have cancer or I'm ovulating so I went for the positive one and I believe that's what it was although it never happened before or since then so it is odd if it is really bugging you ask ur GP but I would assume it is ovulation especially when people say u r more fertile after mc or giving birth

That's definitely what I'd rather believe so I'll go with that! Was yours after miscarriage? We dtd last night anyway, just in case!

Mine was last month and my mc was September but my first few cycles have been a bit all over the place only the last two I have had normal ones so assume my body's relaxing back to normal now! Um yea defiantly think positive and at least uno it's normal n not to worry about it too much it is heart breaking when u do come on your period, I don't know if you have had any since or if u haven't but try to think positive but never let urself think too much into any symptoms that u had before, I have had a few now and then and been late etc and then bam period comes but yeah the ovulation thing I'm not 1000% how it works but jus have as much sex as possible lool forget if u r ovulating or not just have it ! I am I'm trying all the time, is sad when it doesn't happen Still but it is fun trying and it does make u feel good at the time

Positive thoughts don't stress about stuff either

Hi, sorry for your loss tomcat. Fertile cervical mucus is usually clear and called 'egg white cm' as it is very much like raw egg white. I think sometimes people get more of this following a mc (maybe because we're more fertile?). But after a mc your cycles can be completely to cock (as babyangel mentioned) so you could have it due to your hormones being over the place rather than actually ovulating iyswim? I usually get this during ovulation but I have had massive globs of it this morning and I am down to spotting after miscarrying a few weeks ago so I'm almost positive I won't be ovulating.
I've heard a lot of people ovulate within a couple of weeks of a bfn/stopping bleeding so good luck! X

Thanks Flower - sorry for your loss too. This is helpful and I definitely wouldn't have expected to ovulate yet so soon after bfn - and the tests say I'm not. But you're dead right that my hormones have been all over the place in the last four weeks. I usually have a long cycle anyway. I really want to make the most of this fertile phase though, and I feel ready to ttc again. So think the best thing we can do in the meantime is dtd every couple of days and hope for the best! Dh is pleased to hear that anyway :)
Good luck to you too!

Did you ever find out what it was? I’m having the EXACT same symptoms and all the thoughts on what it could be… when I google im also finding mucus plug but don’t know how that would be possible weeks after my miscarriage, but that’s the only thing it resembles. I hope you see this and can offer some support!! 🙏🏻
