Hi i am 7 weeks pregnant. I started bleeding on saturday morning. woke up to a big gush of red blood. went to my dr's office only to see a walk in dr as my dr is off on saturday. She took some notes and booked me for an ultrasound on tuesday. The following day i had 3 large gushes of fresh red blood. minimal period like cramps. and my flow has gradually gotten heavier. I have no idea what is going on. And i am having a hard time waiting untill tomorrow to find out. Any advice or suggestions? or similar experiences? Thanks i just need to talk it out

How scary for you. I've had two kids and two miscarriages and had this with all 4 so I'm afraid there is only a bit of reassurance that I can give you. I really hope your scan brings you happy news - avoid googling in the meantime, it will only make you more frantic Thanks

Hi jodiburak, I'm so sorry you're having such a scary time. Early pregnancy is is nerve wracking especially if it's your first.
What time is your appointment? And do you have someone to go with you? Until you have the scan there's no way of knowing what's going on in there, but it may be good to think about both outcomes to prepare yourself just incase it's not good news.
For the moment just try to keep comfortable and I hope that time passes quickly up to the appointment as waiting is excruitisting.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, so please let us know how you get on. These threads provide wonderful support at worrying times.

So difficult Jodi. I hope you get some answers today. It's such a difficult thing to go through as you are constantly thinking the worst but hoping for the best.

I had a mc over the weekend at 9 weeks and had significant cramps/bleeding and then passed everything at once but everyone's experience is different which is why it's so hard to know what is going on. Red blood and cramps are never good but even so nothing is definite until it is all over. I wish you all the best.

So, i went for my ultrasound, and there was a baby with a heartbeat but i was sent to ER do to the pregnancy being ectopic =(
Doctor decided to monitor me and see how things went. Had an MRI the next morning to confirm the location of the pregnancy. Then proceeded to have another ultrasound, this ultrasound the baby had no heartbeat. I received some injections to help me miscarry and i avoided medical intervention. Hopefully i can pass the ectopic pregnancy on my own...=( sad news

So sorry jodi
I hope you don't need any further intervention. Plenty of support here if you need it and you might want to post on the ectopic support thread which I'll find and bump for you.

I'm really sorry to hear that Jodi. Take care of yourself - dont be afraid yo take some time off and allow yourself the time and space to grieve if you need it. I found the Miscarriage Association really helpful both for info and support

I think i passed the baby yesterday. A little flesh colored sack the size of a walnut =( I went for a blood test today and get the results back tomorrow. I am hoping my levels have dropped significantly, And my dr says everything is ok. I received a pair of baby shoes in the mail today that i ordered to early i guess. I couldn't even open them.
