Spotting again, so scared it's happening again

I've had two MCs in the last year, both at around 6 weeks. Found out I was around 5 weeks pregnant again last week, but this morning there have been a few spots of blood and I'm so upset and worried that it's happening again. Has anyone had spotting in early pregnancy after other MCs that's turned out to be nothing to worry about this time?

Thank you.

Sorry to hear this. I had lots of spotting and proper bleeding in early pregnancy and it turned out ok. Hope you're ok.

I had spotting quite a lot during the first 14 wks or so of my second pregnancy, having had a miscarriage with my first. I actually had a mmc the first time so no bleeding at all when I did miscarry. I was absolutely convinced I was miscarrying again at every scan, but she was fine and is now almost two.
The only possible consolation there is, if the worst is happening to you again, is that you can be referred for further investigations after three miscarriages. Obviously hoping this is just a bit of spotting and you'll be fine, but if not, push immediately to be referred to a recurrent miscarriage specialist. There is quite a bit that can be done.
Hoping you will be absolutely fine xxx

Thank you for the replies. I feel at the moment like there's no hope at all, but of course there is, so it's nice to hear of other people's experiences.

Me too, I spotted on and off right up to 15 weeks when I lost our first baby. I was pg again 3 months later & the spotting started around week 6 & carried on till week 16. It was incredibly hard to try and emotionally detach as I thought I was facing the inevitable. Every single symptom of pregnancy was the same as the first and yet this one carried on and my beautiful daughter is now 3. A little story of hope x
