Heavy periods after early mc - normal or sign of problem?

Hi, I had a very early mc in December. I've had two periods since - one after 23 days, the next after 33 days, and both have been long (9 days for first, not sure yet for second) and very heavy.

Is this normal? Does it mean I'm not ovulating?

Thanks

I'm sorry that you've had a MC.

I'm not sure of the answer but saw that you hadn't had any other responses so thought that if I said something other people might see this thread.

Saying that I don't think it's uncommon for periods to be a bit different following an MC and don't think that it means that you are not ovulating. You could try using an ovulation test if you want to check - and obviously go to the doctor if you continue to be concerned.

Hi, i've hurt that they can be very heavy after mc. I'm currently having first period after mc and its very clotty and i'd say heavier than normal (sorry tmi)
I would say if u r worried ring ur gp for advise but on the other hand if there is no offensive smell or other discharge and ur temp isnt raised its unlikely to b an infection.
Ur cycle may never be exactly as before. When u stop bleeding start doing ov tests to see if ur ovulating, can't see ne reason u shouldnt be really so hopefully your more fertile window post mc will be ur lucky time x x
