I always include my loses when talking to HCPs (& I'm pretty specific about e.g. last time was my 10th pregnancy, 3 live births, 2 second trimester loses, 4 miscarriages); it's pertinent obstetric history.
I'd count the MC when speaking to a medical professional, it's a relavant part of your obstetric history. TBH I count them silently when asked how many children I have but would not say so to a friend/acquaintance as it raises too many awkward questions and makes the other person feel uncomfortable.
Becuase i always count in my miscarriages when they ask "how many pregnancies is this"?
I am (over the moon) 37 weeks pregnant after 7 miscarriages. In and out of hospital with high blood pressure, yesterday, the Dr while examining my tummy asked this to which i replied that this is my 9th pregnancy. Before i could say anything else, he immediatetly laughed and said "oh, well done" to which i said " 2 live babies".
Medically i dont think that it matters, but i want to acknowledge my lost babies, i HAVE had 9 pregnancies, all of them precious.
There are cocks everywhere, absolute knob heads evrywhere you go, that i know, but what i want to know is, do you say anything to them about your losses?
