My best friend, who lives in America, has just had a miscarriage - it is her second miscarriage and she has also had an ectopic pregnancy. I am really at a loss as to how I can support her from so far away. Going over to see her is not an option at the moment as I have 1 month old twin girls and a 2 year old.
I really want to send her something - but can't think of anything suitable - does anyone know if interflora exists in California then at least I could send her some flowers which would be a start.

So sorry to hear this JuA, what bad luck. Presumably if she has full health insurance she can hopefully access follow-up investigations more quickly than UK residents dependent on the NHS?
We had to send flowers to a family funeral in Canada recently and I googled florists and the town name as I have heard very mixed reports of trusting the interflora network internationally.
This worked really well - I found an excellent local florist with a good website and they did us proud.
Maybe you could also send your friend some treats from Blighty - good English tea, Duchy biscuits, jam perhaps? If she is away from family and friends she might be feeling doubly homesick right now :(
