Hello. I lost my baby at 17 weeks in January and it was my first pregnancy. My cycle has returned and I have had 2 periods. However I get twinges in my lower abdomen (not painful). Has anyone else experienced this? It was my first pregnancy and made me aware of parts of my body I didn't know I had so i'm not sure if its just psychological. When I have these feelings it takes me back to the delivery of my baby and is very sad. It feels too unspecific to ask the doctor about. I'd greatful for any feedback

So sorry for your loss :(
I don't know anything for sure as not had mc that late but is it possible it is still your uterus going back to normal size?
If you are really worried I don't see why u can't just ask GP just get a telephone appt, so u don't feel like your taking up too much time.

Hello seashellgreen81,
So sorry about your precious loss!
I lost my precious baby boy just almost 3 weeks ago at 23 wks so i'm very empathetic. I'm not sure about 3 mos after but i was told that in the beginning it is normal and your right it maybe psychological but i do think you should ask the GP. It maybe the uterus giving off spasms which can be treated, instead of having the constant sad reminder. I've learned when in doubt, get checked out!

Take Care,
xx
