Why couldn't they scan you today? Are you having any pain? How many weeks are/were you?

ok, and how are your bowels? how much bleeding have you had? was it clotty or thin?

I had an ep a few years back. was sent home with a mc, still tested bfp, scanned and couldnt find anything. a couple of weeks later tube ruptured. do you feel sick? is the pain one sided?

Go to a and e, don't risk leaving it. Or call your hospital tomorrow first thing and request emergency scan. I had an ectopic last year and the one symptom that really stuck in my mind was pain in my bowels, like needing to go, and worse when sitting down. Please, please push them to scan you so you can be certain it's not ectopic.

I agree with the others that you do need to get checked out again. However, getting checked out does not mean that you will end up with the worst case scenario. I went through exactly what you're going through, was told it was a self-resolving ectopic. I had to have blood taken every 2 days for 4 weeks. And countless scans and even internals. It was an awful time and twice I was actually prepped for investigative surgery before another doctor came and said I was ok to leave. I felt like a ticking bomb and it was a very stressful time. After 4 weeks the levels finally began dropping and I had another bleed and it was finally over. My levels were never high - hovering around literally 60-70 but were not going down as expected. I really do feel for you, it is such a worry but you do need to demand to be seen and to make sure that you are not at risk of a rupture. Hang in there.

tomorrow, DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING!

and if you start bleeding heavily, or the pain gets worse when you lie down, o you feel sick or breathless, A&E. 999. no fannying around.
god, the way the nhs deals with ep is shocking. Angry

Hi, I just saw your post on ectopic. I had a simular situation in May / June. I was 7 weeks and started to bleed so had scan and told it was a pregnancy of unknown location and prob not ectopic but would need a rescan. I couldn't get one for a week but in that time I had some discomfort (I wouldn't call massive pain) which normally occured when going to toilet. I was rescanned and with HCG tests was told it was ectopic. I was then on the cycle of attending hospital every 48hrs until my HCG had gone to safe levels
