Help for recurrent micarriage sufferers

I suffered 3 miscarriages and now have a beautiful baby boy. I pushed my GP for a referral to recurrent miscarriage clinic after my second miscarriage as they had both happened at 10 weeks and despite her disapproval, she said I had to have 3 before I could be refered, she wrote and I was approved to be seen. I had my 3rd whilst awaiting appointment. I went to st Georges hosp and they were fab, apart from the clinic was run next to pregnancy clinic. They did all the tests on my husband and I and I was diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome which is most common cause of recurrent miscarriages. I had never heard of it, but it also goes by name Hughes Syndrome. Treatment is low dose aspirin before conceiving and as soon as pregnant its taken daily throughout as well as daily heparin injection for duration of pregnancy and 6 weeks after. Also took progesterone pessary daily for first 16 weeks. It worked and my little boy is 6 months old. I wanted to write this post to give hope to those who read it as I found reading the internet when I had no answers a comfort during the pain. I also know 2 others who had 3 unexplained miscarriages each and took low dose aspirin and both now have 2 healthy children. I hope this helps.....

What a positive post!
I had that protocol plus ICSI from ARGC and had two cycles which produced three fabulous babies! So lucky I found ARGC!
