Hi everyone,

Just wanted to pick some of ur brains really. I had a miscarriage 3wks ago at 6+4 & it all came away naturally & i had an internal scan at the EPU & it showed that there was nothing there & my blood tests (one on the day of the scan & the other two days later) showed that my levels were coming down.

I started ttc a week after the mc but have done two test which were neg. Strange this is my boobs r really sore again. This was a symptom which made me do the original test which was positive as i have never suffered with sore boobs before, not even when due on my period. Is this normal...?? Do you think that this could now be a sign that im due on...?? Could this still be the remnants of my hormones still in my body....?? Sorry for the twenty questions but at least u havent got the million of questions that are floating around my head ;) xx

Hello - just wanted to reply so your questions did not go unanswered.
Really sorry to hear about your mc, i hope you are doing ok.
If the 2 tests are negative and your bloods showed hormones coming down that would suggest that all the pg hormones have gone out of your body now (which is a good sign and your body is getting back to normal).

I would wait until your period due date and then test again.

I'm in a very similar boat, 3 weeks past mc and had a faint positive hpt this morning. I haven't done a test since I saw the midwife 19 days ago which was also positive but very faint and the mw said I wouldn't be testing positive in a few days. Not done any tests between then and now as couldn't face seeing either the negative or positive.

Since the test I'm feeling pregnant again but it could well be in my head. Didn't have my blood levels done so don't know what they were and to be honest I've had a guts full of doctors so am just going to sit it out and see where I am in a week or so.

Not much help in the way of advice but you're definately not alone, good luck hope it all works out for you xx
