Hi all. Am currently 5+6 am this morning woke up to some brownish streaks when I wiped, also felt like period pains, v mild stomach cramps. Went to hospital and had an internal scan but they couldn't see anything, except consultant said that there wasn't much liquid around the uterus/ cervix (can't remember which one). The took bloods and have to call back later for results (possible ectopic otherwise have to restest HCG in a few days). Since we got back I have had some red bleeding, quite a lot but in patches not like a constant flow.

So, I know there is no conclusive answer but has anyone else experience this and what was it. Am I miscarrying?

Thanks in advance.

Well its unlikely that they would see anything significant at 5 weeks.

Early bleeding is never a good sign though ime.
Its all very stressful and upsetting, but there truly is nothing that you can do except rest on the sofa.

Allt he best x

terrys you had an internal didn't you? Just wondering if the red blood patches you are now getting could be the cervix if it was a bit sensitive to the scan kit. That would be less worrying.

Yes, but I think its a bit too much blood for that. I have no idea spilt, I was hoping people might come on and share stories but I think they are enjoying their christmas eve's instead - can't blame them!

Its a waiting game I guess....
