That is a long time to wait wonderif - we were told 8 weeks for ours but I'm not really expecting them this year.

I'm doing okay thanks - still very up and down but its getting easier.

I would be interested to hear your results if you are happy to share them.
Do you have any ideas at all as to what may have happened?

well they said the babys bowel was outside of the stomach so this could have been sole source for cause i am not sure.

my app is at 4 today so will certainly let you know.

take care x

thanks well we went and they have advised that i had infection , PARVO which is very dangerous in pregnant women.

consultant also told me the baby was a boy i have 2 girls and we had named the baby jay at the time as i had a feeling it was a boy, i think the consultant thought i knew the sex of the baby but i was shocked when she said.

all other testing such as genetical etc was fine, in a way it was a relief that i didnt do anything or could have done anything to change.

strange somber mood tonight but it was hard going back into maternity unit.

Thanks for the update wonderif.
I've never heard of PARVO - did they say if it is common?
I can imagine its been a hard day for you Sad but at least now you are no longer waiting for answers.

We didn't find out the sex of our baby and I think that is going to hit me hard when we do go and get our results.

Are you planning on TTC again?

Thinkin of you x

iloveblue, children get it known as slapped cheek syndrome so i have picked the infection up from kids somewhere

its silent some people dont get symptoms. i was ill all way through pregnancy and got worse in last 6 weeks so guess that was why.

as far as ttc, we are just going to see how we go, at the minute i am 6 days late and its driving me batty as i have tested but negative, putting it down to stress of today keeping tom away.

thanks you for your replies appreciate it.

good luck with the results x
