Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

lower stomach pains

I'm 11 weeks today and have been experiencing lower stomach pain on and off all morning. I'm not sure whether it's the beginning of something or something else. My last miscarriage was an erpc so I have never experienced a physical one. Any advice ladies?

Any bleeding? I'm not too experienced with pg but so far have had all sorts of cramps and weird uncomfortable feelings. As long as there is no bleeding then I'm ignoring them. I am experienced with mcs however and none of mine have started with cramping - all have started with 'silent' spotting, then bleeding, the cramping came when it was well underway. I think you can relax, doesnt sound like anything significant
xx

i agree with jasmine, i had my first mmc 7 weeks ago, baby died at 8 weeks i didnt see or feel any symptoms of the mmc till week 13, which started with spotting. Try not to worry (i know its difficult) but just think positive, hope all goes well for you, keep us in the loop. Xx

Same as jasmine and rachk for me both times the pain came some time after the bleeding had already started.

I don't know for sure, having never got that far myself, but at 11 weeks it could be that your womb and surrounding areas are stretching to accommodate the growing baby. I think you can get something called round ligament pain due to this stretching. Hopefully someone more in the know will come along and give you an answer.

Try not to worry (impossible I know!) and rest up if you can. If you just can't settle then give your midwife/GP a ring to set your mind at rest.

Thank you ladies :) I've been out all day and they seem to have subsided now. Just don't trust my body after last time!
