Not so much hot flushes ... but

Has anyones core body temperature gone up. I would say they are hot flushes as such. But I’m the only one in my house walking around outside in 3degree weather without a coat on.

I’m hot the entire time. Window open at night as I wake up sweating hot. As I say they don’t seem to be hot flushes as such just most of the time I’m really hot.

This is also on top of periods that are going on for months ( been checked in fine ) with only a week in between. And anxiety attacks that came out of nowhere. Itchy skin.

Ooh yep, that’s me. Spent my whole life feeling the cold. Now I have my window open at night in winter! Although no major hot flushes (just occasionally on top of feeling generally hot). Itchy skin - yep. Periods starting to become irregular. Those periods must be really annoying!

Yes, that was me. Never actually had a flush, just felt like my internal thermostat was faulty. I'm out the other side now, postmenopausal, and it's all calmed down thankfully. I still have the itchy skin occasionally, though. As for the never-ending periods, the Mirena coil was a godsend for sorting those out.

Definitely! I used to be always cold and my dear MIL always made sure she put the heating on when I visited. I've tried to explain now that not only am I happier without it on, I could do with the window open! Bless she still puts in on meaning well forgetting my predicament!

Thankfully, OH is tight and doesn't want the heating on except for a couple of hours mornings and evenings, but even I now hate it when it comes in at 6pm! It's actually a nice feeling nowadays to feel a bit cold (for not too long!).

I’m so glad I’m not alone in this. I was thinking something was off. But as it wasn’t hot flushes I wasn’t sure. It’s causing me lots of issues. I’m big cheated and it is making me sore under my boots with the sweat. Nice huh
