46yo... HRT or not?

Hi
I am 46 and have felt rubbish for a couple of years (zero libido, messed up cycle, mood swings, bad sleep and sometimes night sweats). Have now had no period for 5 months.
My primary concerns are the zero libido (doesn't bother me but does the husband) and mood swings.
In your experience would HRT help with these issues?
TIA

Yes!!! And absolutely yes!!!
I think that you are too young to leave your body without estrogen. I found relief almost immediately with hrt and full results after 6-7 months.

Definitely take the HRT. You need the estrogen- it’s not good for your heart and bones to be without if from so young apart from anything else. I am 38 and was put back on the combined pill for hrt as my estrogen was very low (I am under the endocrinologist for various things and this is what they told me to do) and the difference in me is immense. I feel like a new person.

No zero libido for me. Mine gives me improved sleep and no more night sweats or hot flushes plus amazing skin. Go for it.

Hi Dubai, I had insomnia, night sweats, body aches, brain fog, insulin intolerance...I was almost suicidal a year ago. My gyn gave me almost immediately hrt and it gave my life back. I couldn’t live like that!

Yes it helped my mood swings and libido, I feel back to myself again (energy to exercise, enjoy life).

And HRT gives the best protection aginst oseteoporosis if meno is before the average age of 51.
