Has anybody had spells of brief dizziness going through menopause? And if so, did you find anything that helped?

It's happened to me about 3 times in the past month. It only lasts a few seconds but it comes over me in a great wave - it's quite distressing. The last one left me really nauseous.

I had a blood test recently for vitamin deficiency and it was clear. I take Menopace and B12.

Effing, bloody menopause xx

I've had horrendous balance issues - possibly the worst symptom of my peri. It was explained to me by a very sympathetic GP that it was my oestrogen levels altering. I had a MRI scan to rule out any inner ear problems. I was put on ED 2mg but I've been suffering very badly with migraines so I am having a coil fitted and will have hrt gel. My balance issues are greatly improved which shows that my hormone levels need controlling.

Thank you - that's really interesting. Though sorry you've had such a tough time with it. I completely agree with you about it being the worst symptom. For me, the hot flushes, soreness etc are annoying but liveable with. But the dizziness has really thrown me.
