Is this a meno symptom?
It is worse in the mornings but doesn't completely go away, I am peri.
I have bought some ginger tea today which is spicy but completely lacking in flavour.
I feel really quite drained, anyone else?

I'm reading this lying in bed with horrible nausea. It hadn't occurred to me that it could be menopause related. Mind you I feel like I've got every other menopause related symptom so I shouldn't be surprised.

It is really draining isn't it , the way it's just relentlessly niggling away at you the whole time.

Yes I did. Was on oral hurt, but swapped to patches a week ago and does seem to be better but not gone completely. Since I first started noticing peri symptoms I’ve also had really bad digestive problems. Think the nausea is all tied up with that.

Hey @Poppy237
I am on Evorel Sequi. There has been a notice from the manufacturer that suggests that normal services and availability will be resumed by Feb 2020. I found an online pharmacy that supplies them and manged to get 6 months worth. Yes my nausea seemed to lessen as the day went on. But along with the nausea I had really terrible reflux as well. I seem to be much less affected now, although I do feel as though I have a new symptom manifest everyday. Just as I manage one thing another appears. I've got burning mouth now. I'm not giving up on HRT though. My doctor has said I need to give it time, and if this prescription doesn't work will try another/ higher dose etc. Patches are much better in terms of digestion. yes do talk to your Dr. If patches not available then Gel and tabs could be another option. Check out Dr Louse Newson the Menopause DR. Lots of really important information on her website. Let me know how you get on.

Oh yes! Amongst other symptoms, lightheadness, dizziness and balances issues and more.

I had occasions when I felt so sick, it might indeed have been pregnancy. It wasn't. It came and went, sometimes only one day (and yes, always worse mornings) and others for a few days. It happened maybe 4 or 5 times a year or so before I stopped having periods all together.

I had no idea then that it was related to the perimenopause. A very scary time.
