Posted last week, asking about HRT.
I went to the doctors yesterday and the GP was lovely. No trying to put me off or palming off with antidepressants for my moods. We talked about gels patches and tablets, she thought it was best to try me on Elleste 1mg to start with for my symptoms. I stopped taking the mini pill in May but didn't bleed on that so we don't know if my periods had stopped naturally or solely down to the pill. I've got a three month supply but she told me that things can't get a bit worse before they get better, moods in particular but to go back if I have any side effects that I can't cope with. Fingers crossed that things improved soon. Thankfully she didn't bat an eyelid when I told her how bad I've been at times with my mood and temper and she just smiled and told me I'm not, when I said I was scared about being a mad crazy woman! Feeling more positive now. Even if this HRT isn't right for me I know I can go back and talk to her about trying something else.
