I found that after children I got severe PMT to the point of one week in 4 and 1/2 i felt normal, the rest i had the rage, grumps, poor sleep, and lack of motivation to do anything.

I went to the GP who said that it was hormones and would settle down eventuality.

I then moved abroad when my youngest was 8 months as a trailing spouse. It was hard work, he had a wheat intolerance and ended up weaning at 2 and a half, properly. He was offered food from 6 months btw.

After we returned home when he was 32 months I visited the GP as things hadn't improved for me. i was diagnosed with post natal depression, then when my son was hospitalised I completely fell apart and they thought it was PTSD. I've been on anti-depressants on and off for the last seven years (My kids are 14 and 16 now)

Two years ago I had my last period (I thought) I had another this month, I'm all over the place, irrational, grumpy, not sleeping, and totally have the rage. Except this last three days I've been on the up - getting things done, being super efficient and on top of my game.

I've had blood tests a year ago, the results said that I'm menopausal.

WTF is going on - I'm terrified that this is going to continue and I've never heard of anyone else experiencing this.

Has anyone any wisdom to impart? Thanks
