Thank you Polly, about two weeks ago you helped me and gave me your opinion on oestrogel/ustrogen, and I bought them from a Spanish Pharmacy.

They worked straight away and I am a changed woman.
I didn't realise all the myriad of symptoms I had been putting up with for 2/3 years.

I am also sleeping brilliantly for the first time I can remember.

You have really made a fabulous difference to my life Flowers Thank you.

I'd also like to thank PollyPerky. Your advice gave me the confidence to persevere with asking health professionals to prescribe HRT. (My GP refused point blank because I've previously had a DVT/PE, and he doesn't like the cancer risk).

I have finally found a gynae who is writing to my GP to say that she recommends I have the trans-dermal patches.

Still not there yet, but it's a start.

Thanks Lineys- glad it's worked out for you - or is going to!

I've had breast cancer, DCIS non-hormonal, I had to have a mastectomy. Can I take HRT? My GP is reluctant to prescribe because of the BC & MX, but as it wasn't hormonal, surely I'm ok? No HP will answer my question, they all want to play safe, which is fine, but they're not bleeding for 6 weeks at a time.

Frances Polly will be along in a minute, I am sure.

She will know the answer. I suspect it is yes, you can take something (from what I've read on menopausematters website)
Can you see a specialist? It is super frustrating not being offered anything simply because they don't know Flowers

Bumping for you Gin 'till the experts get here.
