HRT- gradual relief or instantaneous??

By which I mean- I have been told my new HRT (oestrogen patch, progesterone tab) will take 'about 10 days' to work.

Can anyone tell me whether after 10-ish day, you're suddenly 'better', or whether you improved day by day from day 1 to a plateau at around 10 days?

I ask because this is day 7 and I'm as hot flushed and sleepless as before!

For me it was gradual, I was about 6 weeks in when I realised I hadn't had a hot flush in a few days. And I'd slept ...a whole night.

They say give all HRT 3 months. So it's a gradual build up, not an overnight success! My own issues- bladder etc- took a good 6-9 months to improve but the flushes stopped within around a week. Good luck!

Thanks all. Always good to hear other people's experiences.

One thing I have noticed, a week in and sorry for the TMI, but down below is damper...!
