They've only afflicted me in late pregnancy before.

A bit of googling shows that they're yet another attractive feature of the menopause.

Does anyone have any good recommendations on how to make them go away as quickly as possible?

Or do I just have to sit it out?

Me too. Never had them during pregnancies. Just turned up out of the blue

Yup, using cream.

Also soaking a baby wipe in cold witch hazel and jamming it into place.

Now, is it worth using barrier cream when swimming to keep salt or chlorine away from inflamed area? Or does that just wreck swimsuits for little benefit?
