when does it start?

I'm nearly 40.

My periods are regular but have got much much shorter for the last few cycles. I have started having shivering fits and also feeling very hot at night in the days leading to my period. I also get insomnia and am more moody than usual.

Does this sound like peri-menopausal? Where can I find out more?

I'm 41 and all this started happening about 6 months ago. Still having regular periods but have lots of symptoms like you, and had blood test that confirms I'm peri meno
It's a bit shit to say the least.
